I was born in Katowice. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Art Education at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa. I defended my diploma thesis in painting, completed at the Department of Painting and Drawing under the supervision of Professor Włodzimierz Kulej, with distinction. What brought me to this place, at this time? Art has been present in my life for as long as I can remember; in fact, my family home is still full of paintings and handicrafts made by my grandparents, their siblings, and my parents. My experience with art – not only through engaging with it – began with ballet and folk dances... it was only later, during my school years, that I gradually discovered how much joy I derived from leaving marks on paper, fabric, and canvas. I always wanted more, and this desire for growth led me to UJD. My studies allowed me to multidimensionally improve my craft, experiment with various techniques and materials. This is reflected in my work; I still love to mix, combine techniques, play with them, and discover. After my studies, I continued to create, but I focused mainly on educational work and started a family. During this time, I also acquired knowledge and developed my competencies in art therapy. In 2022, I decided to resign from my job in education, reduce (but not completely abandon – I love working with people) my educational activities, and focus on my own artistic creation.
