ABOUT ME

I was born in Katowice. I am a graduate of the Faculty of Art Education at Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa. I defended my diploma thesis in painting, created at the Department of Painting and Drawing under the supervision of Prof. Włodzimierz Kulej, with distinction. What brought me to this place, at this time? Art has been present in my life for as long as I can remember; in fact, my family home is still full of paintings and handicrafts made by my grandparents, their siblings, and my parents. My experience with art – not just by being exposed to it – began with ballet and folk dances… only later, in my school years, did I gradually discover how much joy I derived from leaving marks on paper, fabric, and canvas. I always wanted more, and this desire for development led me to UJD. My studies allowed me to multidimensionally perfect my craft, experiment with various techniques and materials. This is reflected in my works; I still love to mix, combine techniques, play with them, and discover. After my studies, I continued to create, but I focused mainly on educational work and started a family. During this time, I also gained knowledge and developed my competencies in art therapy. In 2022, I decided to resign from my job in education, reduce (but not completely abandon – I love working with people) my educational activities, and focus on my own creative work. You can view/purchase the results of my work on this website. For more, I invite you to exhibitions, fairs, and my studio in Warsaw's Old Ochota. If you want to learn more about my work, I encourage you to read the publication below. In the shop tab, you will find my works and a brief description of each series.
